BOW WOW Repaired Double V Sweatshirt - U.S. Army

The V-gusset sweatshirt goes back to 1930s American athletic wear, when manufacturers stitched a triangular panel under the collar to stop the neckline stretching out under sweat and repeated pulling over the head. Military PT departments picked up the construction not long after and it's stuck around as one of the more honest pieces of sportswear history. BOW WOW builds this one in heavyweight fleece with U.S. Army styling cues, then works in repair stitching by hand so it arrives with Aikyō (愛嬌) already built in.

The fit is relaxed through the body with a boxy drop shoulder so it sits somewhere between a base layer and outerwear depending on what's underneath. Ribbed collar and cuffs keep the shape honest through wash after wash.

Layer it under a chore coat or work jacket or wear it on its own with straight leg denim for something closer to the original PT-issue look.
