Thanks to the lads at Urahara. I came into the store with a rough idea if what I wanted and they were able to help me find this pair. Exactly what I wanted, 1 wash high rise with a straight fit. Plenty of room in the thighs without drowning in excess demin.
Very happy with the hemming service the chain stitch keeps the vibe correct.

Wow. Three pairs of pretty thrashed but much-loved vintage jeans repaired beautifully at a very reasonable price. As far as I know no one else in Australia offers this service using the correct machines. Great service, great communication and most importantly, a beautiful job.

From when I bought my Japan Blue 427s a year and a bit ago till now, these guys have been the very best. They hemmed up my Iron Hearts beautifully, chain stitch and all. Whilst I may do some of my shopping elsewhere now, Urahara will always be home.

The real deal: Japanese denim and other good stuff. Jeans hemmed to length upstairs. An excellent retail experience all round. We will be back.

I posted two pairs of 21oz Iron Heart jeans to Urahara. One ancient pair had an emerging crotch blowout and a new pair needed hemming. The darning of the blowout is all but invisible and completely fixed the thin patch. The hemming was chain stitched and exactly to my length specifications. I didn't want to trust these alterations to my local tailoring services so I was happy to pay for the return postage. The service was quick and I had them back just over a week from when I posted them (I paid for return express postage). I'd use Urahara again for these services.

Apart from the fabric quality, I also really like the fit. For reference, I'm only 167cm 79kg and I took the size Large. I thought it would be too small for me but it fits just right. Not loose and not tight. I like ilthe sleeve and total length. I can easily wear it tucked in and still pull it off if not. Compared with my double heavyweight wonderlooper tee, Godspeed is less superior in thickness but I actually don't mind as I feel the latter will be more versatile during summer. Wonderlooper is also too long in length making it hard to style for shorter guys like me (unless tucked in). With pricing, both are just of similar price. If I have to choose between the two, it will depend on season. Wonderlooper for Winter, spring and autumn. Summer for Godspeed. Although Godspeed still can be worn whole year round.
