Dehen started in the 1920s knitting varsity and collegiate sweaters for student athletes and later on knitting racing sweaters for local motorcycle clubs. In the 1930's Dehen started manufacturing the original and now iconic racing jersey for Harley Davidson.

Dehen 1920 have their own original worsted wool fabric, this wool fabric is still being made today on their 1940's knitting machines. Their signture heavyweight fabric is made frmo 100% wool.
