Tanuki's ID x ID denim showcases the brand's dedication to crafting some of the finest fabrics in the industry. This 15oz double indigo denim, made from 100% Texas cotton, feels deceptively lightweight due to its loose weave, making it breathable and comfortable in any climate.

Known for its fast fading and unique snowy fade patterns, the fabric offers wearers an engaging and rewarding aging process. With both the warp and weft dyed in indigo, the denim achieves a deep purplish-blue hue, complemented by a white and blue selvedge ID visible inside the coin pocket. Pre-rinsed to remove shrinkage, the unsanforized denim retains its rich texture and character.

The denim's slub yarn and horizontal slubby weave contribute to its signature irregular texture. These slubby knots are the first to fade, revealing their white core and adding to the fabric's dynamic fading potential even with light wear. Despite its slightly coarse texture, the denim is remarkably comfortable from the first wear, thanks to an extra low-tension weave that enhances breathability and reduces break-in time.

The high rise taper fit from Tanuki has been extremely popular so this is a welcome addition.
