Pherrow's Open Collar Shirt - Green

Pherrow’s Open Collar Shirt draws on the relaxed shirting that became a familiar part of mid century American casualwear. The open collar gives the shirt a less formal shape than a conventional button down, while the straight hem allows it to sit naturally when worn untucked.

The fabric blends 70% cotton with 30% wool, combining the familiar handle of cotton with additional warmth and texture from the wool. The muted green check has a softly blended appearance rather than a sharply defined pattern, giving the shirt the character of vintage autumn and winter shirting.

Two large flap pockets sit across the chest, with the check cut on the bias to subtly break up the pattern across the front. Combined with the open collar and relaxed proportions, these details give the shirt a distinctly mid century appearance while keeping it easy to wear as either a shirt or light layer.
