Herringbone twill has a long history as a military work cloth, and the Saginaw's is modelled on a vintage US Navy fabric. At 12oz it wears closer to a light overshirt than a shirt, and the one wash takes the stiffness out.

The half-zip pullover build skips the front placket entirely: a logo-engraved YKK zip with a leather tag at its base, and flap pockets on both sides of the chest. Deep side slits make it easier to pull on and let you reach your trouser pockets without lifting the hem. Sewn with core-spun thread, so the seams hold up as the cloth fades.

Wear it over the Big Waffle Boat Neck in autumn, with the Motown work pants or Kustom 350B.
