Military poplin is a tight, flat weave: durable and light, and it breathes in a way heavier twills don't. The Clan uses it for a wide cargo pant meant for summer.

The waist runs a cotton herringbone tape through the belt loops, so you can cinch it like a drawcord or leave it for a belt. The hems have an elastic drawcord to gather them or hold a roll in place. Side cargo pockets skip the flap and close with parachute buttons for quicker access, and the knees are articulated for movement.
