POST O'ALLS Engineers' Jacket - Hickory Stripe

The #1102 Engineers' Jacket was the second coverall developed by POST O'ALLS and debuted alongside the No.1 Jacket in the brand's first collection in 1993. Where the No.1 takes a restrained approach, the Engineers' Jacket draws from the more elaborate coveralls of the 1930s, using a four pocket layout and detailed construction that reflects the period's American industrial clothing.

This version is made from indigo Express Stripe denim, a distinctive striped workwear fabric found on vintage garments through the 1930s. Closely related to the hickory stripe fabrics associated with railroad and industrial clothing, the alternating stripes give the jacket a strong period appearance while highlighting the structure of its pockets and seams.

A worn wash gives the fabric the depth and variation of a jacket that has already seen years of use. The indigo is softened and faded unevenly across the surface, with continued wear allowing the colour and texture to develop further. This reissue is finished with the revived green label from 1993, connecting it directly to one of POST O'ALLS' earliest and most recognisable designs.
