Pherrow’s Salt & Pepper Chore Coat draws from traditional American work jackets, using a straightforward four pocket layout designed around everyday utility. Two chest pockets are paired with larger patch pockets below, while the relaxed, uncomplicated construction reflects the practical origins of the chore coat.

The 100% cotton fabric uses a salt and pepper weave, mixing light and dark yarns to create a heavily textured, mottled appearance. Fabrics of this type have a long association with American workwear, where their irregular surface helped distinguish them from conventional denim and canvas while remaining equally suited to hard use.
