Whites 350 Cruiser boot

Known to many as a Bounty Hunter or Smoke Jumper, the pattern is the same but this classic pair of boots is built on the popular 55 Semi Dress last and is non lace to toe for a more classic style. The original Smoke Jumpers were designed for and still worn by firefighters of the US’s pacific north west. The 350 Cruiser has a handsewn stitchdown construction and is built on the 55 Arch-Ease® last. The boot is fully rebuildable/resoleable and has a 6" full-grain water-resistant leather upper finished with a Vibram® Composition sole. All Whites Boots are made in Spakone, WA. Godspeed x Maruasa Porcelain x Path Coffee - Resilience Mug's & Coffee

Our third edition of the Godspeed x Maruasa Porcelain Company 'Resilience' mugs are available this year in a new Pantone ® PMS 7550c colour with an exciting new single origin coffee from our friends at Path Melbourne. The Godspeed Resilience Japanese porcelain mug is made by Maruasa Porcelain Company located in the Tajimi area of Gifu, Japan where more than half of Japan's creamics are produced. All ceramics are baked at 1,300 degrees or above for 22 hours resulting in high endurance products typical of Japanese craftsmanship. This years Mug features a new Pantone ® PMS 7550c Godspeed Resilience print on the outside and おつかれ 'otsukare' on the inside of the mug. Path Melbourne specialise in single origin filter coffee and they have provided us with our own Worka Chelbesa - Resilience coffee. This coffee has been roasted specifically for filter coffee so we recommend brewing this at home using a v60, Aeropress or a batch brew machine. Path's tasting notes for this coffee are Peach Jam, Honeysuckle and Apricot. Mug's limited to 120 pieces. Edition 3/4 with final edition due December 2022.

Godspeed x Tailfeather 'Five Year' Wallet and Belt

Release 4 from the Godspeed Five Year Anniversary Collection is a re-visit to one of our earliest collaborations with Melbourne's own Tailfeather. Made entirely by hand in the Otway Ranges in Victoria, Tailfeather uses the finest leathers and materials from around the world to make truly stunning and utilitarian pieces. The Resilience belt is made from Heavyweight 4mm thick English bridle leather thats been Hand burnished with beeswax. It features Black oxidised military roller buckle, Tear drop sizing holes finished with Godspeed Resilience laser engraved logo. The wallet is Tailfeather's classic Finch style wallet made from Premium saddle tan leather with an added coin pocket and an enclosure strap with press studs. Finished off with our Resilience emblem laser engraved.

Rolling Dub Trio Coupen Boot

Rolling Dub Trio is a premium boot and leather goods company from Asakusa, the old town district of Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 2003 by Katsuya Tokunaga, Rolling Dub Trio is known for their unique and exquisite designs paired with superior leathers, parts and hardware. Their original leathers are sourced from the USA, Italy and Japan with hand finishing on all leathers carried out in Japan. We are excited to finally have in the Mid-cut Coupen boot what is one of Rolling Dubs most revered shoes. Made from Horween Chromexcel Leather, the boot is lined with kip lining and has an original Crepe style cork sole. The heel is a 20 mm Cats Paw heel made in Canada, The Cats Paw Heel was created in 1904 and is best known for its no slip rubber pads embedded in the heel. The Coupen is finished with a Goodyear welt and The Boots Factory Boot Oil or Mink Oil depending on the boot. Each individual boot is then made by hand at The Boots Factory by Tokunaga and his team of highly skilled workers to the highest degree.

Godspeed x Dehen 1920 'Five Year' Embroidered vest.

Release 3 from the Godspeed Five Year Anniversary Collection is this Utility Vest made by Dehen 1920 with a few little extra touches from us. Our version of the Utility Vest comes in two iterations. Both versions use Dehen's signature 3 x 4 end wool knit fabric in Black while one comes with Gold Trim and the other in Black Trim. Both Vests are made from 3x4 end knit weight wool fabric and have Wrap around double patch utility pockets at waist, left chest pocket, Internal seam binding, Custom Dehen branded Corozo buttons and a custom Godspeed 'G' Patch. With endless embroidery options available direct from factory we opted to work locally, ie in our basement studio with Jesse Gordon-Manley who designed and produced 25 custom chenille 'G' Patches by hand on the revered Singer 114w70 chainstitch embroidery machine. Each patch taking over an hour to produce and unique due to the nature of the machine... think of each patch as a custom tattoo. The decision was then made not to affix the patches permanently to the vests giving the customer a choice of application. Affix it to the vest (with our help), your favourite cap, bag, or simply keep the patch as a memento!

Wild Bunch.

Wild Bunch is an emerging British Brand that specialises in classic handmade footwear. The man behind the brand is Neil Morris, co-founder of cult casual store Drooghi in the UK and co founder of the Rather Not Say brand which was stocked in stores such as Liberty, Oi Polloi, Union and Fred Segal amongst others. The shoes embody an abundance of quality, using only premium suede and leather uppers, the natural Crepe soles promise underfoot comfort. Making most of the materials used, the shoes are fitted with leather insoles and leather laces.Made in Southern Spain by skilled craftsmen who have been manufacturing footwear for over 50 years. Creating timeless styles designed to last in the process.

Godspeed x Rats 'Five Year' Washed Denim

Release 2 from the Godspeed Five Year Anniversary Collection comes in the form of an iconic style of worker pants. An obvious nod to Single Knee Pant made famous by American workwear staple Carhartt. We started with Rats 13.5oz selvedge denim in a straight, 90's inspired silhouette and gave them the rounded back pockets, hammer loop and side tool pockets. We then added Godspeed and Rats woven labels on the rear pocket and a second Rats woven label on the internal pocket bags.A Godspeed Hayabusa 17mm button, YKK zipper and Rats hardware finish off the pants before an eco-friendly 'vintage' wash is applied resulting in a soft feel and authentic vintage look.Made In Japan.Limited to 25 Pairs.

Godspeed x URAHARA x Kurieto 'Five Year' Uso & Honto Candle.

The first release from our five year anniversary capsule collection is a truly beautiful collaboration with Kurieto which we hope can invoke a sense of calm and steadiness for you and your loved ones.We started with these stunning hand-made drip glazed vessel's sent to us from the ceramic artisans in Gifu, Japan and worked with our local friend Jarith Hughes to develop two unique scents.'Uso' - Vetiver & Tobacco Flower'Honto' - Wild Mint & Blue GumJarith poured the candles by hand in Melbourne using organic soy wax, essential oils and cotton wicks before we employed another good friend and legendary local designer, Stuart Geddes to design the boxes and sleeves that were finally, printed at our Carlton neighbours Little Print.Everything about this first release embodies everything we believe in at URAHARA and we truly hope you appreciate them as much as we do.As always, they are available in a very limited quantity.

RATS

RATS was born in downtown Tokyo by founder Mano Katsutadashi in 2004. Mano's influence on the underground culture and street style of Tokyo is undeniable having flourished during Harajuku's infamous 80's and 90's. Mano's main inspirations for Rats comes from his early years hanging out in Harajuku during the 80s and the "Rude Boy' style from the 40's, 50's, and the 60's.Now nearing 20 years since it's inception both RATS and Mano are revered leaders of the Tokyo scene sharing the streets and collaborating with long time friends in Neighborhood, WTAPS, Undercover & more. RATS is simply the reflection of Mano's philosophy and the way of life he leads.

Jelado Vincent Shirt

Jelado are best known for their vintage style clothing made with a modern attitude. Most garments from Jelado are inspired from founder Yohei Goto's vintage collection that he first started in his early twenties at the peak of the ‘vintage boom’.The Vincent shirt has a 50’s style box silhouette with a distinctive Italian style open collar, top button loophole and one left chest pocket what was very common for most shirts in the 50’s. The shirt is made from an ombre check fabric and features rayon neck lining.

Eat Dust - 'Jay' Vintage 50's Style Sneakers

The Eat Dust Jay Sneaker has arrived in store in super limited quantities and they are killer! The Eat Dust team have been working on a version of these sneakers for over 3 years and good things come to those who wait. The Jay is named after Jay Adams, one of the most influential skateboarders of all time, and is a premium iteration of an iconic sneaker style.Made in Europe from a premium Italian canvas with Eat Dust details throughout and available in a range of colours though we opted for the Black and Ecru only for this delivery.These are unisex sneaker and we have stocked size European 37 to European 43. For your reference, Marty is a Size 10 in Vans and a Size 9 in Converse and the Size 42 fit perfectly while Nanaka found the Size 37 fit her great too!

Belafonte Delivery

Our very first delivery from heritage masters Belafonte Ragtime Clothing has just landed in store at URAHARA. Founded in 2012 by designer Noboru Tanaka, Belafonte pay homage to American classic style from the 1940's to 1960's. Taking cues from this time period, each season Mr. Tanaka seeks not to replicate vintage clothing, but rather to identify the best qualities of these garments and use the freedom of design to apply his own vision, ultimately creating something that is truely unique. New Denim Fabrics From Tanuki Japan

Our biggest delivery from Tanuki in over two years has landed this week. Three new ultra textured heavyweight fabrics are available in the HT silhouette, by far our best selling shape in the store.Sizima - the result of extensive experimentation with different types of natural dyes. The weft has been dyed with a natural sumi ink (Japanese black ink), giving the indigo an incredible deep blue hue. The fabric comes in at 19oz with the outside mostly made up of Texan cotton which has a rough feel, resulting in a crisp texture. On the inside, a combination of Supima and Californian cotton has been used which is much softer, making it comfortable to wear from day one.Heavy Kusaki - Since the limited release of the 14oz Kusaki fabric from years ago there has been endless requests for another run. Re-introduced in a new 19.5oz, the natural pomegranate rind dyed weft is heavier than ever. Green and yellow nep make subtle appearances throughout in typical Tanuki style. Made from a blend of Texas and Australian cotton for the ultimate balance of rough and soft texture.Miyabi - 3 years in the making with notes taken from Tanuki's now extinct Earth fabric. Clocking in at 18.7oz, the Miyabi fabric is packed with subtle details from the mix of Peruvian & Californian cotton to the natural indigo dying process. The result is a super slubby texture with a fuzzy / hairy surface and hand feel. Expect unique fades with a bunch of variation in hue's of indigo.

New delivery from Rolling Dub Trio

We have received our biggest delivery yet from Rolling Dub Trio Japan and couldn't be more excited to show you what we have.Back in the store with a new finish is Rolling Dubs Mid-cut Coupen Boot in Horse Black. A similar silhouette to the iconic 1954 Red Wing Postman Boot, the Coupen features stunning all black horse leather upper, Kip Lining, Original Crepe style cork sole, Cat's Paw Heel finished with a goodyear welt. The Coupens have been a favourite in the store and we couldn't be more excited to now have them available in the Horse Black.New to the store is the Lineman boot that has been in the RDT lineup since the beginning of the brand. Constantly evolving to suit different environments this is the third version of the Lineman. Still keeping the original silhouette Rolling Dub have decided to change up the sole and use the Vibram #1276 outer sole.
