Hand-picked Desi cotton and organic Ugandan cotton at a 7:3 ratio, knitted at No. 16 weight on vintage circular looms in Wakayama. Dense and wool-like at first handle, dry and substantial, with natural variation in the surface that shifts as the fabric wears in. Brown Zimbabwean cotton on the reverse is softer against the skin.
Relaxed through the body with dropped shoulders and room to layer. Tubular construction, flat seam assembly, V-insert collar, ribbing at cuffs and hem.
Oatmeal sits comfortably in natural workwear territory. The warmth of the colour works well against raw denim, canvas trousers or worn outerwear without needing much thought. Works over a long-sleeve shirt, under a chore coat or as a standalone layer through cooler months.
