What We Think

This jacket takes its lead from early pleated work styles, but Lawford have sharpened things up. The fit is clean, the finish is refined, and it’s built to last.

13.5oz selvedge denim, woven on shuttle looms from Zimbabwe cotton, gives it that dry, rope-dyed texture that fades beautifully over time. Copper rivets, iron donut buttons and a proper cinch-back round things out with solid, workwear credibility.

It wears a little smarter than your standard Type 1 Jacket, easy to throw on with pleated trousers and loafers for a clean Ivy look, or go all in with the matching jeans and boots. Either way, it’s a jacket that does the heavy lifting.
