Tanuki's new 19oz Sizima denim is the result of extensive experimentation with different types of natural dyes.
The weft has been dyed with a natural Sumi ink (Japanese black ink), giving the indigo an incredible deep blue hue. The fabric comes in at 19oz with the outside mostly made up of Texan cotton which has a rough feel, resulting in a crisp texture.
On the inside, a combination of Supima and Californian cotton has been used which is much softer, making it comfortable to wear from day one.
