Belafonte Ragtime TLT 1890 13oz Selvedge Denim

From heritage clothing masters Belafonte comes these
TLT 1890 jeans. Made from 13oz unsanforized (shrink to fit) selvedge Japanese denim. Single needle construction, raw inseam, buckle back and exposed rivets all period correct to the late 1800's.

Note: Because this item is unsanforized expect shrinkage of approximately 2-3cm on all measurements after first wash.

The Belafonte TLT 1890's is based off some of the earliest Levis' jeans using single stitch construction and includes cinch back and suspender buttons on the waistband.

Made from an unsanforised denim, it requires a soak or wash before wearing to soften and shrink the denim, just like you would a STF Levis.

The fit is loose though the hips with a higher rise and straigh/ loose fit all the way to the leg opening. This jean is perfect for a high waist, loose fit pair of jeans to fit over a pair of engineer boots or work boots. We love this fit styled with cropped knits or jackets.
