Whites Boots
Since the beginning, White's Boots has been a family business, operated and managed by the bootmakers themselves. Otto White learned boot making from his father, who learned it from his father, who learned on the job, shoeing loggers and soldiers in the Blue Ridge mountains in the late 1800’s. By the time Otto set up shop in Spokane in 1915, White’s Boots already had a reputation for making the most comfortable and durable boot money could buy.
Otto himself remained active in the factory until his death in 1972, passing on his commitment to quality craftsmanship the best way he knew how - training the next generation of bootmakers.
White's boots continue to manufacture their hand-sewn work boots exactly the way they have since their founding in 1853, by hand, in the USA.

How do I size or measure for Whites Boots?
We find that most customers are typically a full size down from their US sneaker size. For example if you are a US10 in a Nike shoe then you should take a US9 in Whites Boots. This is often the same size as your Red Wing Boots or Converse sneakers.
Can Whites Boots be resoled?
Whites Boots are Goodyear Welted which means they can be resoled multiple times to extend the life of a pair of boots. Essentially, a strip of leather is stitched to the boot upper which leaves a 'welt' upon which the sole is then hand stitched.
We can supply official replacement soles and parts and direct you to our recommended repair shops.
Can I order custom boots?
Yes.
Most of the Whites Boots range are customizable with different leather, sole and hardware options.
